Employment for felons can be challenging to find and this is the reason we recommend using creative thinking when performing your job search.   If you are looking for weekend jobs, one of the ways you can create a better opportunity for yourself is by looking at weekend jobs for high school students.  While you are, obviously, not in high school oftentimes the employers will consider hiring you over the option to hire a high school student because they will view you are more reliable and more dedicated to the work.   So, look through your community paper, look online, and consider employment opportunities open to high school students.  In doing so, you can often get your foot in the door at a place of business and then work your way up int a new and exciting, more lucrative career.
