Employment for convicted felons will be on the rise, according to the labor news released today. Of all the sectors with job openings on the rise, healthcare and retaurant/bar service are the two industries with the greatest growth. For those with a felony conviction, this is good news especially if you have an interest in healthcare and an interest in nursing or working as a nursing assistant. With nursing vacancies expected to exponentially increase over the next several years, and as baby boomers enter into retirement, more and more employment for convicted felons will open up as people are going to be needed to fill these job openings.
