Employment for felons can be found through a number of unique opportunities.   Recently, on the MSN careers news article, it was cited that some of the highest paying jobs for unemployed workers are going to be among the companies hiring in large volumes.  For example, Ohio jobs for felons are going to be significantly boosted by the increase in jobs with U-Haul, Yellowbook, and even in the retail jobs with Pilot Flying J.   Even if you do not live in Ohio, there are many jobs created within these same organizations across the United States and, while felons won’t qualify for every job within the company, there are specific entry-level jobs you can do.  So, if you are actively looking for fulltime or part time work, consider these companies from the list provided by MSN Careers and start looking for jobs in the high volume workforce.

Employment for convicted felons come through a variety of jobs that are associated with industrial manufacturing.  If you are looking for a job that does not require prior experience, or prior education, then you’ll want to consider employment for felons that comes through the warehouse jobs in your area.   While these jobs may be listed in your local classified ads, most of the time you can secure a position more quickly by consulting the businesses directly.  By making contact with local businesses directly, they will often ask you to come in and fill out an application for employment at which point you can get a better idea as to what types of jobs for felons they may have open.  The point is that you shouldn’t just look to classified ads for jobs and, instead, look for the jobs by making direct contact even when no job openings are advertised.   Finding part time evening jobs this way is also easier especially if there is 24 hour shift run at the place of employment.
